Red, ripe, and wonderfully out of reach!
For little Freddie, there is nothing quite so tempting as the fine, ripe cherries hanging high on the garden tree. He looks up, pleads for them to come down, and receives a cheeky reply: the cherries would much rather stay put, fearing they'd be eaten right up if they dared venture down this morning!
When the finest cherry of all dangles from a slender twig, teasing him to come and catch it, Freddie jumps as high as his toes can take him. But the cherry just bobs about, laughs, and tickles his nose!
Based on the classic nursery rhyme and brought to life through Albin Ingelherner’s charming, whimsical illustrations, Freddie and the Cherry Tree is a sweet, playful look at the joys and frustrations of being a little kid in a big world.
Why families will love it:
-
Whimsical Artistry: Filled with delightful, vibrant illustrations that capture every bounce of the branch and every funny expression on Freddie's face.
-
A Classic Shared Verse: A wonderful adaptation of a beloved traditional nursery rhyme that introduces young children to rhythmic poetry and storytelling.
-
Relatable Childhood Fun: A lighthearted celebration of youthful ambition, playful teasing, and the universal desire to reach just a little bit higher.
Perfect for bedtime storytimes, young dreamers, and early readers learning to love the magic of poetry!
